My Birthstone

My birthstone is Peridot. I like the peridot. It is very pretty because I like green.

Trip to Lake Manyara

My parents took us out to a place called Lake Manara. It was a long drive. While we were driving I saw a rainbow.






I also saw zebras and giraffes. I liked the giraffes and the zebras. It was fun in the back of the truck looking at baboons.








On the way we stopped in a town called Mtu wa Mbu. That means “Mosquito River.” We saw our friend Pastor Zablon and we ate red bananas. I did not like red bananas. I had fun with Vickie and Bethany.








We were going to sleep in a tent but our friend Ishmaeli let us stay in a real room with a bed. I liked staying in the room. I liked running around watching the birdies.







We brought a friend with us. His name was Princey. Lily and Ben had lots of fun.

Nyumba na Mungu

It was a long, bumpy (not to mention hot and dusty) drive out to the lake...but that's nothing new to me. I had a good time splashing around with some of the local girls and sleeping in a tent was kind of cool.
